Your first instinct might be to section your hair into pieces, then start blow-drying from the ends. For hair that dries fast, though, start at your crown—where you really want to get more oomph—by lifting up small sections with a fine-tooth comb and blasting the roots. (BTW, it's harder to achieve more volume as your hair dries, so this step is crucial for fluffy locks.) "This trick will cut your workload in half," says Dyana Nematallah of Marie Robinson Salon in New York City.
